Hello to all my Facebook friends! I'm not big on ads but this is free advertising so I couldn't pass it up...Over the past few months my friend Kyle Carver and I have been working hard to start a Fire Retardant Clothing and Safety Supply store in Platteville, CO. We both work in the oilfield here in Northern Colorado and after talking to a lot of guys and experienceing it ourselves we found the common complaint in this area is that there is little to no selection and what you need is usually a long drive away.
Well, we are going to create a retail store in Platteville that is not a warehouse where you get lost in parts or a country western store where the safety gear and FR clothing are just side notes. We want customers to be able to come in, look through, and try on FR clothing and other oilfield safety products like gloves, hard hats, and safety glasses before they buy so they will know that what they are getting will work for them that day. FR Clothing & Supply will be geared toward the oil and gas industry, particularly in Northern Colorado, and how we stock the 1,385 sq/ft store will depend directly on the needs of all the oil and gas workers and companies in this area.
