Francine Parker Advising Center (FPAC) is an academic advising office that was created for students who are interested in declaring a major within the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). CAS is the largest college at EMU, offering 81 majors; where the vast majority of courses satisfy the university’s General Education program requirements. As a student at Eastern Michigan University, you are STRONGLY encouraged to meet with an FPAC advisor to create an academic path that consists of completing the General Education requirements and navigate through your major program of study.
The mission of the College of Arts and Sciences is to foster knowledge and curiosity for lifelong learning, strategies to flourish in the face of challenges, and skills to contribute positively to the community. The College promotes an integrated education in the arts, humanities, social and natural sciences.
