This is my favorite local Airport. It was used as an Air Force base back 30 years ago but now the do trainings and Recruiting men and women into the Air Force. It is a decent size Airport with a few runways. I have seen many Jets land her and takeoff. I have seen C-130's and Blackhawks fly into and out of for training and other purposes. My favorite time was when I observed a Boeing C-17 Globemaster land here!
You can bring a chair grab some lunch and watch the private jets come and go. Very relaxing.The restaurant is cute and the food is very good.

Love to fly in for a meal at the airport cafe. Friendly air traffic controllers & parking just outside the small terminal building. Give your aircraft tail number to the wait staff to avoid getting an aircraft landing fee OR top off your tanks. Ask for a long landing if arriving on the long east/west runway or be prepared to taxi for a mile or two! Flew in this past Tuesday for lunch & the restaurant was closed. Hope they do not send me a landing fee in the mail.
Fantastic Airport. Has really turned around in the last few years. Good service, great restaurant - Apron Cafe'. A little busy in the summer time, but the air traffic controllers do an amazing job to keep things moving safely. Would like to see more fueling purchase and over night parking options.
I work at the Airport Manager office. It ys a great place if you are plane or pilot.

It may be clean on the outside but it doesn't make up for some of the workers who are continuously rude and disrespectful. I will never fly out of here again.
