This is the best hospital I've been to. Everyone and I do mean EVERYONE was so nice and caring. The doctors are incredibly smart and attentive. The nursing staff, techs, and transportation were all very kind. I felt peace there. This may seem like a requested review but it isn't. I recommend this hospital for anyone that needs medical attention.
Strongly dissatisfied with the quality of the care I've received at this location; after admission for acute pancreatitis, I lay writhing on an open gurney on the main floor of the ER, with only minimal support from hospital staff. Was wheeled up to the second floor and finally properly sedated. However, it took my stepmother's intervention to move me up to the IMCU, where I was still not provided with sufficient pain treatment. At the moment, they have discontinued morphine and switched me to NORCO oral, which will be discontinued tomorrow, four days after my arrival. I am in agony, and have been informed that I will not be sent home with painkillers. I feel degraded and like they see me as nothing but some sort of drug-seeker.
This use to be the best hospital around here but now they worst, its not the nurses its the doctors now. I learned in 2014 don't never let a doctor tell you there's nothing wrong with you when you know it is, I'm not a normal person, i have a rare skin disorder that you just can't look at me and say everything is ok. I keep telling them something is not right with my hip on down and they just push aside like I'm gone crazy. I'm tired of agreeing, I'm tired of been sick and depressed and they not doing nothing but making it worse and worse for me like that doctor did in 2014. I'm writing this since they don't won't to ease my mind and heart and if something happen to me this why, this hospital.
emergency room visits with the franciscan chain usually aren’t very good, slow service, seems like they rush to get you in and out so they miss important things. overall not the best but the staff has been GREAT lately. they really are talkative enough to help us through whatever is bothering us. although the actual things that matter kind of suck the staff has been very kind especially taking blood
Junk sent to my brother by Fransican the medical mafia they bleed my brothers insurance until the day he dropped dead !!! & now my Doctor wants me to get a second colonoscopy when he hasn't had his first !!! He is just trying to make money & notority !!! A bunch of doctors who studied in a third world country & came to the U.S. to make money off of American's !!!
We love them! Dr. Braszco, nurse Rebecca and the entire ER crew. They work hard to give great care mixed with love and compassion. Give them all raises
I wasn’t very satisfied with the weekend ER staff as they assumed I had an STD when really I was suffering from a tick bite RMSF. So Diego and Dr. John sent me home. I came back the following Monday to find out I had a tick born illness. The staff from there and floor 3 were amazing. They were very attentive to my symptoms, and work quickly to figure out what was causing my rash and fevers. The facility was very accommodating, and all the nurses I interacted with were very compassionate and resourceful. They did everything in their power to make me comfortable and even prayed for me on a daily basis. I would recommend this hospital to anyone. Just don’t get sick on the weekend.
I came in for an outpatient procedure. Which i was extremely nervous about given that I already have generalized anxiety and have not had any procedures in years. The care and compassion shown by the staff was top notch. First, i had a nurse who said a welcomed prayer with me, after i disclosed this was my first procedure following my mom's passing and her not being with me was heartly felt. All other nurses were professional and pleasant as they thoroughly explained every step of what they were doing while prepping me and what was going on following the procedure. The anesthesiologist, observantly noticed my hands shaking and asked was i nervous. He then conversed with me, fully explaining what was going on and making a few lighthearted jokes, which put me at ease. Shortly afterwards, i was sleep, woke and the procedure was over. I have another procedure in a week at the same facility - hopefully, the experience is similar.
WORST experience of my life here! My 3 year old son was transferred here in an ambulance because his condition worsted. I was BULLIED by the doctors and nurses because I was alone, and they saw I was a young single mom! The Doctor told me that my son was going to DIE, that he was the sickest patient he’s ever seen. All to get me to agree to TESTING! The same exact testing he JUST had at an urgent care not even a hour ago. I was disrespected as his parent/guardian. But My son is alive and WELL AND THRIVING! No thanks to this hospital. I requested that he be transferred to Comer Children Hospital they told me no. Which is the closest children ER I had to threaten to take my son myself for that transfer to happen! Only for them to threaten me with the police IF I decided to take MY child anywhere. Smh don’t come here, even if you are dying!
My daughter had Lazer eye surgery due to a hole in the back of her eye behind her retina. I can tell you this. From the time they took us back into the her room she prepared in, thee entire staff was remarkably outstanding with helping hands and knowledge of all of what was about to take place. They made me feel sure that she was going to be in good hands and they kept me up to date every second, every minute! I was at ease because they constantly kept checking on me and making sure all my questions were answered accordingly. Thank you all HUMBLY.
