Franciscan Women's Health Associates at St. Francis

Well I was supposed to be in an appointment with Lucie McKee, but when I got there my ARNP was now Lara N Kim, which was a little odd to me, which don't get me wrong she was some what nice at first, but im sure my appointment with Lucie wouldve gone 10x better, Lara made you feel stupid, it's not like she was there to inform and help you at all. Felt a little stand off ish as she was asking me questions. Once we figured out my issue and reason for being there she was trying to convince me otherwise of something I wished to do with my body. I just think it's gross that if a woman says something another woman is going to throw in all these opinions and try to guilt trip you into doing what she would do. Lol, not professional at all especially being in the industry their in. She also put wrong information on my paperwork. I don't want any other woman to feel how I felt walking out of there already hearing discouraging news. Also told them I'd never had a pap smear and im 22 going on 23 and they still didn't do one lol, you think they'd want to do that at least to make sure you don't have anything else going on, but guess I'll have to spend some more time calling around looking for a understanding and professional obgyn. -Yikes and just now seeing all these other reviews about her too. Glad to know I'm not the only one. She's gotta go lol

I went to see Dr. Lara the first time and she was very friendly, since she couldn't help me with my "problem" she referred me to Dr. Poehlmann, which I went today to see and I definitely never want to come back ever! He was rude, when I was trying to explain what was going on he kept cutting me off. And he explained to me in a rude way my "situation" and making rude comments about how he's surprised that I haven't had surgery to fix my weight which "could" be affecting my problem. And he recommended me back to Dr. Lara, like if they can't fix my problem just say so, I dont want to keep going back and forth. I just know that I was balling my eyes out and I hope and pray that no other person goes through what I went. It was such a shame because I was well recommended to go there, but I definitely felt so uncomfortable. NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN!

Dr. Laura kim, was nice at first but is very short fused and very rude! The last 2 times I have seen her she has been very uninformed with my chart and does not take the time to read my notes. SO I have to explain to her my medical history every time I go and that seems very much like she is not interested in providing me my care. Also I deal with some ongoing medical problem that she informed me in August was because I was over weight and I think that is a very lazy way to treat my problem. ALSO she held my birth control because I was over due on my yearly but I am a grown woman with children and a husband and feel as though I can make that decision and not be held hostage for something that is a necessary for me. For example if I was a man I bet my doctor would not hold my viagra. I feel like that is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Then when I actually went in she then scolded me. But the ultimate is when she was doing my yearly she got very frustrated with me because I would not relax and then told me I was being very dramatic. I am sick with the rude comments and behavior. I will never go back!

My experience with this facility and its' staff yesterday was horrific. I would never recommend this office to anyone. LARA KIM is rude and patronizing. This particular office should be shut down. I was treated terribly.

I also saw Dr. Pohlman and he was rude, very short with me, and referred to me as being dramatic when he wrote in my chart. I've been in a lot of physical pain and he dismissed it and didn't like me asking questions. I too, won't go back to him.

I love dr. Laura Kim and her staff most of the time but the girl who answered the phone this morning monotoned voiced with short crappy attitude responses to me when I’m having a small medical emergency with little to no empathy and no help what so ever really turned me off to this clinic. I get that it’s a Monday but if you hate your job so much just quit! We need people who are slightly empathetic in the medical department, even if it’s just answering phones.

they have the best staff! everyone is so friendly and helpful! the doctors are amazing and so great at caring for their patients!
