All the shrimp that I could eat! Could it get any better? Yup. The breading on the shrimp was too crispy, even though the shrimp was very well done and flavorful. It was clean and bright, with quite a bit of positive art on the walls. The servers were quick to respond to any requests we made. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to a friend, especially one with children.
Very friendly staff. Helpful waitress, we had breakfast, I had chicken fried steak and my wife had the gut buster. Yes she was a bit embarrassed by the name. All was delivered timely and as ordered. They offered and accepted a discount for the hotel at which we are staying. We would go back when in the area.
Food was good, but service wasn't great. Staff was friendly, but we waited too long to be waited on and for food. After we got our coffee we realized we didn't have silverware, so after waiting a minute or two my mom got up to get our own which was in a bin across the restaurant. Place was not busy, so not sure why the wait was so long. When done, we waited on a check, and nothing. Then my dad decided to walk up to the register and ask for it. We had my 1 year old son with us. Not the place you go if you're in a hurry. For what it's worth, my mom said her chicken and waffles were the best she's ever had.
We ate here going off of all of these great reviews... Boy was our experience different. We were seated amd immediately smelled a strong urine oder. We were moved tables, which did improve the smell. Our waitress was pleasant but filthy. We ordered breakfast and the gravy was green with pink sausage... We are from the south and it just wasn't right!! Very dated also... But we don't mind if its good food. I do want to say, they were very nice and accommodating with our complainant.
Had a great breakfast at Frank's in Alliance. Very generous portions. Reasonable prices. Had an omelet, home fries and a couple pancakes. The omelet was about half again larger than most places serve as their 3 egg omelet. Generous portion of home fries that seemed to be unseasoned and since I closely watch salt that is the way I want them. You can add salt and pepper as desired at the table. Fluffy pancakes cooked just right. Waitress kept the coffee cups full. Wife got French Toast and oatmeal. She said it was was great.
There were three of us and we had a corned beef hash and eggs breakfast skillet, sausage, onions and peppers with hash browns, and the all you can eat shrimp special. It was all good. Unfortunately, even though the restaurant didn't seem particulaly busy, a large group had arrived just before us so our meals were slow in coming out. On the other hand, our server kept our drinks refilled and hot while we waited. We we're disappointed with the wait for our meals, but the quality of the food will probably still bring us back for a second try.
Went to Frank's today and had a wonderful breakfast. It was so refreshing. We don't eat out often because of the dirtiness of most resteraunts, however, Frank's was very clean and the food and service were excellent. And a BONUS.....they serve breakfast all day!
Possibly in the top 5 bad experiences my family has had dining. We went in and sat down and our server took our drink order and disappeared. She brought our drink then never came back to take our order. We watched her take another tables order that came in after us. Our food wasn't good,at all. My wife ordered Cole slaw and they never brought it. Our server never came back to our table till it was time to bring the check. I had meatloaf that was crispy and my wife had spaghetti that she said was very bad. She ate less than half of it.
Frank's is a nice family restaurant. Whether you take the kids or leave them home you're bound to have a good dinner. I love their stuffed French toast with seasonal fruit, but they have a big menu with a lot of variety. Plus I love patronizing a Christian establishment.
My favorite breakfast place. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The environment is peaceful enough to read if I want to. The food is always cooked well, and it's the only place in town that has eggs benedict. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who lives in Alliance or just passing through.
