The staff was so nice and caring right out of the gate! We have a pet skunk and no one else in the area would accept her, but these guys did and they knew so much about her. The information they provided was impeccable and the level of care and compassion towards our baby was hands down amazing! we would definitely recommend this vet to any fur baby owner!
Can’t say enough amazing things about this place. The staff is beyond friendly and so caring. My hedgehog has seen Dr.Buck from the beginning of his life to the end. Dr.Buck is an amazing Exotic vet.

Dr. Buck is hands down the best bet I've ever been to, and I've been to many. I've had bunnies for the better part of twenty years. The clinic staff and techs consistently show compassion and patience whenever I've needed to call and have bent over backwards to get us in for emergencies. I have absolute confidence that my bunnies always receive top-quality, individualized, and thorough care. I know Dr Buck's practice is very busy but I've never once felt like just a number or another client. I recommend anyone who has exotic pets to make the drive to the clinic. There is no doubt in my mind that my pets have the best possible chance of healing and recovery with Dr Buck but she will not hesitate to be practical and honest and her evaluations. The level of service she and her staff provide is invaluable. I recommend her clinic to everyone I know.
After moving here from another state I needed a doctor who could treat my menagerie, which includes bearded dragons, a cat, and a geriatric schnoodle tripod. I found everything I needed here. The entire staff is so professional and genuinely concerned with my babies health. They have consistently gotten my kiddos in quickly, and are always available to answer my many questions. I couldn't be more pleased and would highly recommend them.
I’ve been coming here for three years, now, and fell in love with their care of my babies. They treat my foxes. My oldest had broken his leg when he was about 8-9 weeks old. They got me in, and cared for him for the next few months. They did his neuter, microchipping, and more. So, naturally? I make the hour plus drive every time. My second male, unfortunately, passed away from what Dr. Buck believes to be the bird flu. And when he did? They helped make him as comfortable as they could, and me, as well. I just had heartworm tests and a microchipping done on my newest baby. She was rehomed to me, and a bit spicy. Thankfully, they were able to sedate her to safely care for her. Meanwhile, my oldest also got his heartworm test and napped on my lap while she was taken care of. 10/10 cannot recommend these guys enough to fellow exotic owners!
Professional and friendly staff was on their game today. No complaints from me, but my dog still feels a bit swindled. He feels he was tricked into getting the jab. I think he's just embarrassed that he cried. ‍ the big baby!
Very good people! Every one is polite and helpful. We ended up moving to the area recently and needed a vet for our dog. We use a brand of preventative treatment that they didn't have, but we could get a prescription made and order it online. 4 stars because when I called to refill the prescription I was told it would be mailed to us but after two weeks I called back and it had not yet been mailed, but they did take care of it.
Frankenmuth-Birch Run Veterinary Hospital is always a joy to work with. There's nowhere else that I would prefer to take my small pets to. They've taken such good care of my family's rabbits, and Dr. Buck knows her stuff!
Dr. Buck and the staff are very caring, professional and great with Bubba!! I drive over 50 miles to go there and and would recommend them highly. It's well worth the extra miles!!!
