Franklin FAST STOP

I used to come in and spend quite a bit of money in here as a regular customer. As in nearly every day or at least multiple times a week, as I have an interest in supporting local businesses at the cost of convenience to me, by the way. So you'd think me every once and awhile once or twice every few weeks using their cheap small Styrofoam cups to get myself a cup of hot water not even actually a drink, or coffee. just /water/! and apparently now because I "do it every day" previously hadn't been in there for roughly two weeks or so due to illness, so not sure how I'm doing it ""every day"", they claim they're going to start charging me for water as if I'm getting an actual drink, like I'm pulling some kind of fast one on them. Well that's alright, I don't need all that! I just won't come in anymore. : They overcharge on most of their items by an average of 2.69 to a full 5 dollars btw after doing some research and comparing them to other businesses in the area of Jacksonville, Franklin, and Waverly...And their coffee is of very poor quality. Got some the other day and actually found a dead fly in it poured straight from the pot! This place has really gone down hill. Would not recommend this place to anyone!

This is the daily morning meet place for Franklin. Farmers and workers meet regularly in hourly waves with some overlap. Everyone knows each other and for the most part politics is not discussed. Most of the time is spent discussing corn, beans and tractors. Breakfast is available without hot chocolate and cappuccino. Appears they feel hot chocolate is only good in the winter. They still serve coffee all day though.
