We had a bridal brunch at the Herb Garden Restaurant and it was absolutely fabulous! The waitstaff was friendly & helpful, the ambiance was perfect, and the food was delicious! And the Three Wishes Coffee Martini was delightful! Our party of 9 thoroughly enjoyed our meals & drinks! Service: 5/5
Such a BEAUTIFUL property!! Enjoyed every detail of this property! The common areas of swings, all the beautiful foliage of the walk ways, the cottages are adorable and smell just like a spa! Super comfy beds too!! Great location; everything you need is just a 2-3 minute car ride away. Dine at SAGE while you visit - it was our favorite meal of the trip!
This place is heaven. It is so peaceful and tranquil. We definitely were able to relax and unwind while we were there. The cottages are beautifully decorated and the grounds are well maintained. We loved sitting on the porch in the swing enjoying our wine. We enjoyed the restaurant, and the bar area. All of the staff are very helpful and so welcoming and friendly. We would like to recommend a piece of furniture in the room, so that we could have unpacked. I did not care to live out of a suitcase. And the mattress could have been a better quality. Other than that, it was perfect. We will definitely stay here again. Rooms: The cottages are beautifully decorated and the grounds are well maintained. We loved sitting on the porch in the swing enjoying our wine. We would like to recommend a piece of furniture in the room, so that we could have unpacked. I did not care to live out of a suitcase. And the mattress could have been a better quality. Nearby activities: The cottages are just minutes away driving to Main Street Food & drinks: The food is amazing. We have been to Fredericksburg so many times over the years, but we recently discovered this place. It was absolutely stunning. The grounds are so beautiful. Herbs, plants, and flowers surround every room, the restaurant, and garden. The rooms are the perfect size. It smelled absolutely amazing in the room every time we walked in. We actually bought some of the all natural room sprays they make there to take back home from the gift shop. They have a restaurant walking distance from every room. The food, service, and drinks were great. So many beautiful spots to sit and enjoy your cocktail or a glass of wine. There's also a spa on the grounds, which unfortunately we didn't use on our trip, but definitely will next time. Complimentary breakfast delivered to your door each morning. Very cute patio on each home with a swing and seats. It's not far from main street. It's very quiet also, so no need to worry about street traffic or other people. We cannot wait for our next stay!
Horrible customer service. I had booked a couples massage for me and my sister. I booked online. We were running a couple minutes behind as we were driving from Austin. So I call the spa to let them know 45 minutes before the appointment that we will be a little late. They tell me that their system showed we only booked for one person. I let them know I booked for two people and they said they’ll see if someone is available. I had even put in the notes when I booked that I am booking a couples massage for me and my sister. Since we already drove over an hour we decided to continue in hopes there would be some other option. When we get there they don’t offer anything, the reception just start checking me in. I let her know if there is any way both me and my sister can get a massage, even separately. She says there is nothing. We felt that it didn’t make sense for one person to wait for another person to get the massage so we let her know we won’t do it. She still charged me $140 for “cancellation” even though we didn’t cancel and drove 2 hours to get there. They didn’t offer anything else for another day. Extremely rude and unprofessional. There are probably so many better spas to choose from. Do not recommend this place.
Went here to tour around Fredericksburg and it was the best choice I’ve ever made! Had so many fun things to do plus the services was amazing. There is FREE parking lot so that was awesome! Highly recommend if you’re visiting down here Food & drinks: Fantastic food! Highly recommend this beautiful place. I ordered fresh spring rolls, chicken sandwich, strawberry field juice and tomato basil soup! Everything was great including service.
I purchased a single night, a meal and spa treatment for my sister to spend alone time for her birthday. She hasn't stopped talking about how peaceful and beautiful this place was. Thank you all so much for taking care of her! I would 100% recommend this place to ANYONE.Rooms: 5/5
Wow, phenomenal place for dinner. Perfectly fresh entrees coupled with beautiful views makes this place a must go. If you don’t want to get sucked into Main Street but still want an enjoyable and fabulous atmosphere and food… go here. You will be missing out if you don’t go. Picture below is the calamari and nearly-eaten fresh spring rolls, ahi tuna salad, chicken piccata, and tres leches cake.
Got a prenatal massage here the other day by Katie and it was truly the best massage I’ve ever had!! Katie was so kind and accommodating and worked on all the problem areas I asked for. Her hands were like magic! She also made the room extra cold for me since I am sensitive to heat because pregnant lol which I greatly appreciated. Would 100% come again!
My husband and I stayed here on Easter weekend, and had a wonderful time. The rooms were very cute and cozy and had everything we needed. We found some great items from the gift shop, and explored the garden in the evenings. Overall a wonderful place to stay!Rooms: 4/5
