Watch a variety of films: mainstream, documentary, indie, international films, and buried treasures of cinema in Williamstown, New Jersey!
Founded by award-winning filmmaker Jeff M. Giordano and University of North Carolina School of the Arts - Film School alumni, the Free Film Series is an intimate cinematic event held in Williamstown, New Jersey at the Free Public Library of Monroe Township.
Since its launch on January 31, 2011 — over 60 films have been shown.
Each film is meant to spark discussion. They range from offbeat, experimental, controversial, entertaining, inspirational, and heartbreaking. Members and non-members of the library are all invited to experience the joy of watching and discussing a film.
The series is an eclectic mix of independent, non-mainstream, off-Hollywood, international productions, and special screenings.
In southern New Jersey, there is absolutely no venues for independent, off-Hollywood, and non-mainstream films. This film event is one of a kind!
