Great price for full hookups. Here’s how it works. There are no reservations, call the number and he’ll tell you if there’s room. Pick your site when you get there. They’re all the same. Pay by cash in the drop box inside the bath house towards the front of the property. Mike, who answers the phone, seems annoyed when you call so I figured this info will be helpful to someone. Maybe someone else should be in charge of answering calls. The scenery is really pretty here, farm fields for miles. It’s quiet and a ways from the highway. My only complaint is that it smells like old pee everywhere outside. Not sure if something is wrong with the septic system or if that many people like to just pee all over the grass. Either way, would’ve liked to sit out and enjoy the views but it smelled so bad I couldn’t do that for long.
The owner and the uncle were great people to meet. This place is perfect with the prettiest bathrooms in a cornfield. We enjoyed the cat that came and got in the bed and purred all night. we named him Cletus. Young orange cat. Tent camping was worth more than what he was asking
My son and I stopped here, desperate for a place to crash for the night, as we were coming from a long but awesome trip in South Dakota, headed back to Southeast Wisconsin. The owner was INCREDIBLY nice and accommodating, even when MOST RV parks were still closed...it was early April. Nice and clean with all the sweet hookups....water,electric,sewer. I would definitely stay here again, if on the way. Nice farm, with view of rolling fields across the road.
Nice quiet spots in the country,15 minutes from town.Free Wi-Fi. There is a bathhouse with a lavatory and shower. Full hook ups. Mike, the owner is a pretty cool guy and his rates are affordable. If you are out working on the road I highly recommend Freedom Ranch.
Excellent host and stand up guy. Small quiet out of the way place
Nice place for an overnight pitstop. Not sure if there were bathrooms? It's some guys front yard mowed down with gravel for trailer parking. We were only there to sleep, so it wasn't a big deal. He was also incredible affordable!
Excellent camp ground; very friendly and they make you feel very welcome.
Very good guy to work with very quiet nice little campground
Friendly owners, full hook-ups and wifi for $20. Quite a ways off 90.
Mike is good man. Constitutional patriot and isn't a " yes" man. Fair, kind, and generous
