Sadly about to go out of business sure to retirement, Freehling always had a great selection of kitchen necessities and gadgets, along with a local Hyde Park vibe.

Small run business that has nice kitchen products. Always clean and organized. Fresh whole coffee bean selection for coffee drinkers. Nice selection of pots, pans and dishes that change from time to time so you're sure to find something that catches your eye. Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff!

Just stopped in here for the first time today and I love it. This place is full of practical items and nifty gadgets, too. Nice fresh coffee and tea selection. Being a chef professionally, and home cook as well, I see myself shopping here quite frequently and would recommend it in a heartbeat.

This place has the best selection at some of the most reasonable prices, in the area and neighborhood. I was able to find glass bottles here, when I couldn't elsewhere. I like to use Mason jars and milk bottles to store things in my refrigerator. No problem finding those here! Tons of great cookware and kitchen apparatuses. Street parking.

Great selection of needed and specialty items. I'm so glad Hyde Park has this store. I do wish the staff would be more excited to see customers walk in though.
