This has not been a good experience. My 78 ur old father was brought in after a severe car accident. He sastained a severe head injury and several broken bones. But the first round we were there for almost 12 hrs, and the discharged him with nothing. Then we had to return because his condition worsened this time another 12hrs, and NOTHING. They seemed to care more about their door dash delivery then caring for the patients. I will not be back nor will any of my family and I will not recommend this facility to anyone. Mercy will now be my choice.
Seems many folks have had bad experiences here but I am not one of them. I brought my wife into the ER a few weeks back. Because of the nature of the emergency they saw her right away. I was allowed to go with her inside the ER while they worked on her. The ER nurses and doctor were all very professional and answered all my questions. My wife needed to stay in the ICU for a couple days. The ICU staff were attentive to my wife's needs. She was move to a regular room and stayed for an additional 2 nights. All of the nurses, admin staff, and support teams that came to visit were friendly and explained everything to us clearly. I honestly have no complaints.
My father was transferred to this hospital due to heart concerns. He was placed in the Cardio Unit. He honestly had awesome nurses and nurse techs while he was there. Evelyn, Odessa, Jaylen, and Coretlyn, thank you ladies for taking such great care of him. You all were very kind, patient, and compassionate! Thank you Dr Smith, and the cardiology department for getting him back on track! The housekeeping, lab, cath lab, and dietary departments were amazing as well!! Thank you Freeman West, I can't thank you enough for taking great care of my dad!!
Had a procedure done here. Have to say my appointment was great! The CT Tech & Nurse explained everything that was going to happen. Kept my nerves calm for sure. The docter was great as well. I would definitely recommend Freeman West!. Thank You for taking such good care of me & being so patient.
My daughter gave birth her and was treated very nice by everyone. Was very clean and had directions to her room number but I found it difficult to locate because when you turn towards the rooms there is a big shut Doble door and I couldn't find out how to get in, but a nurse showed me how to activate the intercom to get permission to go in. Everything seems very new, I guess we can thank the tornado for that.
50+ stars! There is no way to express my appreciation for every single person I have come across during our stay at this hospital. They saved my sons life, they are patient with my questions and my mom fits. They are understanding to our situation and made me feel heard. Thank you
We are in from Arkansas. They think she has kidney stones we have been here 4 hrs in waiting room after transferring my self instead of a paramedic unit. That's were I made the mistake. If I would have had the paramedics bring her in we would already be done. So if you or your loved ones are in pain. You better have a paramedic bring you
I have been here numerous times, times when it busy and times when it's not, no matter what it is a long wait. On top of that there ER and admission team are always some of the rudest. If I didn't dislike mercy more I would go elsewhere, but those are the only 2 choices available. Also the mental health staff is terrible at their job, there one and only solution is in patient custody, which is pointless because that just makes thing worse.
I spent 5 days in the hospital and was treated in a compassionate and professional manner by everyone from the Doctors to kitchen personal to house keeping, the Nurses and their aides made my stay as pleasant as possible under the circumstances.I thank God for professionals like these people.
They've saved my life and the lives of several family members and friends, the most recent being my mother. They're hard workers and the staff members and medical personnel do everything they can to make sure the right treatment is given. We appreciate everything that's been done and the care and knowledge going into further treatment.
