Dr. Freeman he is amazing. He is very kind and listened to help me get back to feeling normal again. Highly recommend!
Dr. Freeman has been helpful and always listens to my needs. I needed a new psychiatrist and his office had openings sooner than others I called. I never wait more than a few minutes in the waiting room before being taken back. Making new appointments and requesting refills has been easy. I've never personally had any problems with the front desk staff as other reviews mention. Hopefully they've had some turn over.
A 100 dollar miss appointment fee is essentially extortion. Individuals with mental health issues come to doctors who get paid WELL. These individuals struggle more than the doctor and are then asked to pay an ENTIRE days worth of money for missing an appointment. A power dynamic exists when there are only so many doctors who can prescribe us the medication we need to function. It’s frankly gross when you call in to fill a prescription and are told you owe 100 dollars before they will give you the medication you rely on. Sadly I will be paying the 100 dollars because of the power dynamic that is being used to extort me. And the reasoning will be that another patient could have used that spot. How much does an appointment cost?
I’ve been with Dr. Freeman for years and he is amazing. I’ve never had a single issue. He is very caring and listens to my words. The office staff is punctual and quick. Highly recommend!
We have heard that Dr. Freeman is very good. Who would know however? An appointment was made for this morning. Had waited a month and a half to get in. No phone call was made to say that they were canceling and rescheduling the appointment. Once there was told that appointment had been cancelled and it would be 2 1/2 months minimum before getting back in. Spent gas money and drive time for nothing. Wonder if we can send them a bill? Good thing it wasn't for something too serious.
If I could give a negative review--I would. Dr Freeman is by far the best Dr I have ever seen, in my history with mental health. HOWEVER--His office staff is deplorable. They are rude, degrading, and make you feel as if you have more problems/issues than you may already have. I would recommend anyone to Dr Freeman, but unfortunately had to seek other care due to the members of his staff. Good Luck!
I really like Dr. Freeman. He seems to be understanding and genuinely wants to see me get better. My only issue is the office staff. Extremely rude, I’ve called and been reduced to tears because of the way I’ve been talked to. In person, they are not much better. Luckily I like Dr. Freeman or else I would look for another psychiatrist.
I called to make an apt for my mother so I could schedule it when I could take time from work to drive her. Was shocked at how rude the office staff was. They said they would not accept my mother as a patient because she had completed a Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care. I tried to tell them that this is a simple document that many of us have designating who would make health care decisions for us if we became too sick and unable to make our own decisions. I was told in no uncertain terms that they could refuse to treat anyone they wanted to. Fine with me that they refused to accept her as a patient. I wouldn't want to expose her to office staff that rude and uncaring.
Dr Freeman was the absolute best psychiatrist I ever had .. he was very insightful of my mental health and cared about me
The office staff is kind and punctual and Dr. Freeman helps my son tremendously.
