We rented one of their Beach houses for the weekend. Wow! It was super clean, the decor flowed throughout the entire house and we slept like babies on the comfy beds. They thought of just about everything when setting them up. The Gravel Bar was great for my daughter's engagement party. The staff were very attentive and friendly. We highly recommend hosting an outdoor even here. The only things I would add: baking pans, tea pitcher, extra trash bags, and larger bath towels.
Check in was quick & easy, the girl in the office Alyssa or Allison? was really sweet, rooms are small but clean, bed is comfy, it was really great having a kitchen, washer/dryer. It was also quiet! There's no views but the beach is only 3-4 miles away. Any nightlife, bars ect. aren't real close by, but they do have an onsight outdoor bar and a game/ movie rm that's really cool. We had decided to stay an extra night and let front desk know that we would book through Expedia, which we did & then went to the beach for the day and then to dinner. We returned about 10pm exhausted and our rm. keys wouldn't work.... We weren't told if we booked another night we would need new room keys. So we called their after hours emergency # & the younger guy that answered was rude and acted bothered that he had to do his job..... Besides the rude after hours employee it was nice.

This location is super clean and quiet. There is a detached bar within walking distance that serves beer and wine as well as a entertainment center. Grills are provided outside of each location. As far as the rooms go, seriously, this is one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in, they come with a fully functional kitchen and a washer and dryer. Great for weekend trips out to Surfside beach or park. You can stay here for quick overnight visits like a hotel you don't have to pay a deposit for the short visits.
My significant other stayed at Freeport studios for a few months. I visited twice. The beach is about a 6 minute drive. Staff was very helpful and friendly with informing us what is around the area. If you are planning to stay long term you may want to invest in a new blanket and pillows as the ones provided are very uncomfortable. Everything is provided that one would need to cook. You will need to get a few odds and ends. Cleaners come once a month and clean your studio. The only reason I rate 4 stars is because one thing happened that was not handled well. My boyfriend left our cooler on the deck overnight which he had done for weeks and someone stole it. It was a $300 cooler and the staff simply told him to not leave things outside and that was that. This place is somewhat secluded, has its own entrance, we were not in plain sight, and there weren't many occupants. Someone had to walk on our deck to take it, and no help was made to recover it. With the small space given, it made sense to leave a large, beat up, dirty cooler outside. But other than that incident, staff seemed pleasant and the overall stay was good. There was a time we needed maintenance and they came promptly the next day and he was kind and outgoing.
Really a great place to stay, has all the accomodations. And really close to the beach. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Marcie front desk and Patrick Manager went above and beyond to help me get a room with just less than two hours notice. Thank you to housekeeping Jessica & her team as I was a late booking and check in, the room was in perfect order. The property is great as it is, but in the office is a photo and brochures of the expansion they are in the process of doing. Anyone traveling in the area really should stay at least one night. I ended up adding to my reservation the next morning. Can't wait to go back and see the completion of their expansion.
Freeport Studios is a great place to stay. Feels more like home and much better than hotel living for days or weeks. But the absolute best part about Freeport Studios is one of the staff members Jessica Kaiser. She is outstanding in every aspect. She is knowledgeable about the apartments and the surrounding areas, she is friendly, very articulate, goes above and beyond in every part of her job. Willing to share whatever information she has to answer questions and make your stay a pleasant one. She always made me feel like I was her only customer and made the paperwork part of living there seem so easy. Whether I called or went to the office personally it was always a joy to be greeted and assisted by Jessica. She is definitely an asset and represents the name Freeport Studios in an extremely positive light. Every company should be so lucky to have Jessica!
I travel for work and spend a lot of time in different hotels. My 2 weeks staying here was the best experience to date. Mike and the guys in the office were extremely pleasant. The kitchen with all the accessories plus a DISH WASHER was awesome, not to mention having a washer and dryer in unit was convenient. The grilling areas were covered, with 2 gas grills, sink and TV. If I stayed at places like this everywhere I go I'd not have any complaints.
We stayed here after Jeep weekend at Surfside. We were not sure what to expect but upon arrival we were amazed. Our studio was extremely clean, smelled awesome, comfortable for 2 people, and well equipped kitchen for a long stay. We will definitely be back!!!
