While attending Brazosport College she assumed a broader, more active role with Freeport-Lakewood and realized that working in her family's business was her true calling. She attended and graduated from Commonwealth Funeral Institute in Houston, graduating as an outstanding student. She began working full time at Freeport-Lakewood as an apprentice under the guiding and watchful eyes of her mother and father. Upon completing her apprenticeship, Krystine became a fully licensed Funeral Director and the third generation Turner on the Freeport-Lakewood staff. When the family added Riverside Crematory, Krystine completed the necessary requirements to become a Certified Crematory Operator.
Continuing the Turner family's commitment to service and compassion is Krystine's primary goal in her job. Treating families with respect and understanding during the difficult time of planning a funeral is Krystine's idea of continuing the Turner family tradition of service.
