our history
The Fremont Art Association is a unique long-lived institution in Fremont. Since 1959 it has offered local artists, collectors, students and art enthusiasts a venue that combines a showcase storefront gallery and a working studio. As a cooperative enterprise, The Gallery is staffed by member volunteers who bring in new work on a quarterly basis. At the same time, the FAA mounts special exhibits throughout the year. Each monthly meeting offers a demonstration or speaker free of charge.
what we do
An eclectic mixture of groups and classes provides studio time in an atmosphere of camaraderie and friendly critique. Our artists produce varied work, including traditional and modern paintings, fiber art and fashions, ceramics and jewelry. All activities and membership are open to the public.

The mission of the Fremont Art Association, to enhance the creation and enjoyment of art, in all its forms, drives the FAA to offer new and interesting ways to incorporate art into their lives.
