I went in for a special treat for my husband's birthday breakfast and got way more than pastries. The customer service was incredible and when I told her a specific pastry was for my husband on his birthday, she wrapped it in a box with a bow free of charge. It was an incredibly sweet gesture that I valued very much. The pastries themselves were AMAZING. I will definitely be making this quaint bakery a place for a special treat every time I need a little taste of Paris.
Amazing food and people! We have been going here for a while. Today I had the tomato basil bisque and my husband ha the smoked turkey sandwich. We were both so happy with out lunch! I also brought some cookies and other bakery items home for friends who came over and they looooved them!
Excellent quiche, the slices are enormous. The almond croissant is one of my faves, it's a little on the small side, but so incredibly yummy. The french butter bar is by far my favorite thing... anyone who goes needs to give it a try. Wish the Lenexa location was still open.
I'm not from Missouri but selected KC for a central location to celebrate a 60th anniversary for family to fly in from various locations in the USA. This led to an internet search for a bakery for a special cake. I called the French Bee Bakery, relayed my wishes, received terrific feedback, and placed my order. My biggest criteria was good tasting cake & they delivered! I had 40 guests & advised to get a half sheet cake - WAY too much. This very dense, triple layer, heavy, heavy, heavy almond flavored cake could have fed 100 but it was fabulous & those guests that drove to KC & had coolers took home leftovers if you're looking for light & fluffy this is NOT your cake. In fact, the cake was so tall the lid covering the cake smashed some of the piping - hmmm. I also purchased a 7" round chocolate cake with raspberry coulis thinking I'd need a little extra since I was told the half sheet would feed 40. This cake was beautiful & outstanding in taste. Very friendly staff, a pleasure to work with them.
This is my favorite stop for the classic pastries in the morning. Sometimes I'll pop in for a slice of quiche or their candied bacon. Extremely helpful staff. If you need a big order of something, call in advance.
From fresh-roasted Roasterie coffee to high-quality pastries, the French Bee is a great local place to sit and relax after a run at English Landing Park.
Yummy food and ambience makes for great ladies' coffee get-togethers.
Unique little bakery. Every single thing we have tried has been phenomenal! Great spot for something tasty and a little different.
Tried the lavender donut and it was great. They have a variety of sweet and savory baked goods and a cafe as well. Worth a try!
The food is great but the service sucks and they always run out of their quiche and put too much foam in there cappacino. Seriously, I don't need half my cup full of foam.
