What was going to be temporary became a five year project. When I moved, I put stuff I didn’t have time to sift through into boxes. A lot of it was good stuff: the heirlooms and the photos. The rest was to donate or to trash. Thank goodness for French’s self storage. My stuff was stored securely yet with easy access. Although French’s is not climate controlled, my valuables were not subjected to extreme temperature change or moisture. I highly recommend them for short or long term storage!
I have used French’s storage for some time now and am very satisfied! The facility is clean and I feel my belongings are well protected. I have found the owner and her son to be exceptionally personable and responsible! Mary is quite the remarkable professional and works hard to satisfy her customers.
DO NOT use this place. While the owner claims it’s climate controlled it is NOT! We had to leave my daughter's things there-books, clothes, dorm necessities for much longer than anticipated and 70% of it had to be thrown out because of mildew and mold. When asked about it, the owner claimed the dehumidifier like the one we use in our bathroom! WAS the “climate control”. Then, they charged us for all of February despite renting the locker to some other lucky person. We can’t even replace the items that were ruined because we spent so much on this dump. We have a similarly sized storage locker in our area that is actually climate controlled and it is a palace by comparison for which we pay 10.00$ less per month. Unless you are looking to hide a body, or make an insurance claim, drive the extra 20 miles and save yourself the heartache.
