Fresh Healthy Cafe

I've been here once before when I moved here 2 years ago. I wasn't too impressed. This time I am vegan and finding vegan options in New Braunfels restaurants is hard to find. Happy to know this place has options for me and Vegetarians. I tried their portobello mushroom panini, it was pretty good! Also grabbed an Acai Mega Berry drink with added plant protein and that was also pretty good. Glad there's a place I can go to close by.

Always very clean and delicious! They have a great menu and variety of choices! Happy hour 2-4 Monday- Friday as well.

Our first time their and a great time to try it. It was not busy at all. I would have not known about this place if I did not pass it on my way to look at a place. We recently moved here from out of state. I will say that the area lacks options to eat healthy. Would like to see more healthy take outs or sit in dining. Not bad protein bowl. Though I would like to have had my food warm other than my chicken.

Definitely a hit or miss. I order the smoothie bowls with protein and usually they forget to add the protein it tastes different with it, and has a lighter color. Today they didn’t add the protein and only gave me HALF a bowl of smoothie…Why am I paying more for something I’m not even getting? I used to come here once a week, sometimes more. But, 9 dollars is a lot for what you get, especially after today’s experience. Not worth it. Plus, the workers here are not friendly and welcoming.

First time having a lunch from here. I ordered online and it was ready quickly. I ordered the pomegranate punch smoothie, love love and a CYO salad with chicken. Fresh and delicious but I won’t be adding the chicken again, as I didn’t eat it after I tried it. Not a very good quality. For sure coming back though!

Absolutely amazing staff and facility. I get smoothies here regularly, so much so they already know my order. Always consistent and delicious food. I have never been disappointed in the service here. Staff is always very pleasant and provide an enjoyable experience.

I frequently patronized this establishment when it first opened. I never had any issues and enjoyed the friendly and inviting atmosphere. Yesterday 2/15/18 that changed. I ordered a smoothie to go and added a dollar tip to my bill. The associate making the smoothies made no attempt to begin making my order. She cleaned the counter, stacked canisters, took them to the sink, came back and continued to wipe down the counter as if she had nothing else to do as it stood across the counter from her waiting on my order. Eventually I looked around the store and noticed I now was the only customer there as she continued to ignore me. I politely asked the cashier for a refund which was granted with no problem. She had a puzzled look as to why the coworker hadn't started my order also. She gave me a coupon for a free smoothie on my next visit, she was great. Unfortunately I will never return to fresh in New Braunfels because of this experience.

I am so grateful for this restaurant! I ordered lunch here for work beet fresh squeezed juice, burger and lemongrass shot with a side of quinoa. Let me tell you this is fresh and I know I am putting something good in my body! This place is awesome! Will be coming back.

Coffee is good. I appreciate that it's not sweet by default. I was hoping to see more creative vegetarian dishes on the menu since the place is fresh/healthy focused. Will try the beyond burger next time was happy to see that option but wasn't feeling like a burger.
