This is a terrific place to shop! Fresh Thyme has a wide range of products and they have a huge variety of fresh food. All of their choices are great and affordable. They have a ready-to-eat section, a fruit section, a dairy section, a meats section, and others. You can literally find anything you need here and all the things you are using daily. This place is very organized, clean, neat, and well-maintained. All of the items are perfectly aligned and stocked. You can easily find all the things you are looking for. Their staff is very nice, friendly, helpful, and very attentive. You can freely ask them anytime if you are looking for something. They will guide you and help you to find the things you need. Very accommodating staff. They are knowledgeable and well-trained. No wonder why a lot of their customers either old or new, they keep visiting and shopping at this place. Fresh Thyme Market is great at everything. Their location is very accessible and they are also near other well-known places around the area. This place is the best market I have ever been to. Full of amazing products and reasonable prices. Highly recommended! Will definitely visit and go back here again soon! I would also love to recommend this place to all the people I know especially my close friends. Thank you Fresh Thyme! Kudos to all the staff!
Very disappointed that Fresh Thyme has chosen the route of going with self-serve check out. This is fine to have self-serve, but give customers the option of waiting for a human cashier and "do it yourself" this option should offer a percentage off discount since customers do not work for Fresh Thyme. Today - December 10th, the River Forest store did not even offer any human cashiers forcing me to use self-serve. The assistant manager who used to be very friendly and pleasant ushered me to a self-serve station and when I asked how to do it - her response? "Just Read". I am an elderly person and was expecting a bit more courtesy and patience. When I came to scanning produce, I was even more confused. The asst-mgr passed me and I asked how to ring up produce--she said "just enter the number". She did not explain how and where to do this and just walked away. She became even more cross and rude later on. I'm sure she is over worked having to deal with the problems self-serve stations cause, but to take it out on the elderly is uncalled for. I used to love giving my business to this little market, but today....hmmm....not sure I even want to go in there anymore.
This is the perfect small grocery store with absolutely amazing customer service. They have a lot of specialty items, as well as great produce and meat. It's like going to a mini Whole Foods without paying Whole Foods prices!
WOW! I cannot express how much I loved my experience at Fresh Thyme Market today. It was my first time in, they were the only store in the area that sold a specific product I wanted so I made the 20 minute trip. I wasn't sure it was worth it, but finding this gem of a store was worth every minute. The staff was incredibly kind and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. The store was well organized and tidy. All the natural products you're looking for at decent prices for the high quality. They seemed to have some great deals on produce as well. The cashier was friendly and patient when a problem came up with a coupon I was using. She resolved it quickly without making me feel like a burden. I cannot recommend stopping in enough!
They have their CBD locked up and I had to have an employee watch me shop the CBD which made me feel rushed to make a decision. Also noticed they only have one cashier and if that employee has to help at the self checkout there is no cashier.
This isn't my normal Fresh Thyme Market that I go to, but for some reason my GPS decided I should check out a new one....lol Nice place, more homey looking on the outside then the newer plain looking stores. Inside was neat and clean, and worker bees were very helpful and nice. I liked it
Terrific place to shop for a variety of fresh food. Great choices from seafood to pizza to bulk. The staff is very friendly and hospitable.
Expected a much higher meat quality selection. Their butcher had one grass fed steak option and the rest of their meat, although it was cut to look pretty, was just feed lot meat. To most that don’t buy their meat for nutrition it’s par for the course with all of the other grocery level meats but I expected much more. I didn’t even bother to shop for the rest of what I needed so I can comment on anything else in the store.
A nice grocery chain with a lot of quality options. They have a lot of specialty items and all the staple items you could ever want.
