Fried Green Tomato's

Experience here was fine. I kinda thought the prices were a little steep. Anyway, I ordered the fried chicken which was a good sized chicken breast. I felt that it needed more seasoning. Mashed potatoes and green beans were decent. The atmosphere in this place was good and relaxing. I don’t know if this place is related to the one in Montgomery which is buffet style . This place is meat snd 3 where choose ur meat, vegetables and drink upon ordering. Service was fast and meal hot, just no food to scream about.

Fried green tomatoes is always a good spot for a meat and 3. I have found the food to be seasoned well when I’ve visited. The prices are a little high so bring cash when you go because they have to charge 4% for using a credit card which is common for smaller, local places recently. Always quick service, order at counter and food is prepared so quickly your tray is usually ready before you have time to make it to your seat. Nice, quiet atmosphere inside and a few tables outside to sit as well.

Good food but not the greatest. I had the country fried steak and it was swimming in brown gravy before being served. Fried green tomatoes were good with a flour crust as well as the okra. Wife had the chicken pot pie and said it was tasty.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes

Went here on a Saturday afternoon mid day and it was packed. I would suggest coming later or earlier if eating here on a weekend. This walk up to the counter restaurant has down home southern cooking chicken fried steak covered in brown gravy, Chicken n Dumplings, etc. Veggies include Mac n Cheese, Greens, Black Eyed Peas, among others. The staff is friendly and makes sure each order is correct. Definitely a great place to try Parking can be a hassle. The restaurant is located in a strip mall with other businesses. So, I would suggest an early arrival to eat.

just got a pork chop from there on DoorDash, and it was not done. I’m extremely disappointed. This is disgusting.

Sister restaurant to the world famous Irondale Cafe and it shows in the quality of the food and service. Everything is excellent, though they didn't have the remoulade for the FGT the last time I was there. If you can't get to Irondale, this is the next best thing.Food: 5/5
