We were a big party. Food was very flavorful. Great crab cakes well seasoned. Sides are delicious You are eating as soon as you sit down. Appetizers are waiting at the table upon arrival. Family style offering where all side dishes are passed around Very nice environment. And beautful setting with lakes and ducks. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly
Fond memories of this place since the 70s. Beautiful grounds. We did a private event in the bottom room. It was decorated Beautiful. The Food was delicious. Employees were super helpful.Food: 5/5
I don’t know how I’ve never done a review on this delicious restaurant. My family has been coming here for years and the food has never lost quality or taste. Friendly farm has the BEST crab cake and chicken out there! The crab cake is all lump…literally! The chicken is fresh and fried to perfection and not greasy. Everything is served family style with delicious appetizers such as my personal favorites the sugar biscuits and fried apples. The dinner sides are also family style including fries, fresh corn, and green beans. And we can’t forget about the ice cream dessert with many flavors to choose from. The staff are always nice too! I have always had positive dining experiences here and would highly recommend to anyone!
Great fried chicken! Not greasy at all. This is a must try for everyone. Enjoy.Food: 5/5
Love Friendly Farm Restaurant fried chicken was delicious and hubby loves the roast beef. Moose tracks Ice cream included in the meal is Yummy. You will love the home cooked feel and the great service.Food: 5/5
The price of the food was too high and quality of vegetables was all canned. I ordered fried chicken which was 22 dollars for 5 pieces of really ordinary chicken. Canned corn, canned string beans. And no private tables. But the view was nice and I think that's what people like most.Food: 2/5
Fried shrimp had no flavor and too much batter. Crab Cake was good but not great. Orange Roughy was tasty. Fried Chicken was tasty. Ham Steak was thick and tasty. Peaches were canned. Apple Butter was tasty. French Fries had no flavor. Steamed mixed corn was good. String beans were canned. Coleslaw was good. Rolls were tasty. Ice Creams were tasty. Sherbet was tasty. Service was impeccable!
Annual tradition on our way back from Hershey. This place never disappoints. The fried chicken and crabcakes are delicious. Sugar biscuits and apple butter are such a great combo. The kids love the options bc they get to try a little bit of everything. Such a lovely setting. Can't wait for our next visit!Food: 5/5
I’m not really sure how to adequately describe how DELICIOUS literally EVERYTHING was! The chicken was likely the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. The sides. THE BREAD! Do your best to not fill up before they bring your entrée! And I mean good luck. Maybe don’t try the apple butter and then you may stand a chance at not filling up before dinner. Doesn’t even matter anyway…..you’ll take the leftovers home!! Go and go often!
Still one of the best Crab Cakes around. Nothing fancy here, so don't look for it. It's just good food served with a smile in the Country. I got the Surf and Turf and the steak comes bare naked but is very flavorful. I popped some salt, pepper, and some bitter on it and it did the trick. The older clientele don't require seasoning but I'd love to see a good seasoned sear on it upon request. They work hard to please you, and Do.
