Friendly Horse Riding School offers individuals with special needs therapeutic riding and horsemanship sessions in a fully inclusive, supportive and safe environment. Our program places a strong emphasis on creating dynamic and positive experiences for our participants and their families and we personalize and structure our session activities to each individual’s own goals and developmental needs. All horsemanship and riding activities are planned and supervised by a PATH Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor and each participant is individually evaluated to ensure that session activities are appropriate and properly supported. Examples of activities are therapeutic riding lessons, trail riding, groundwork, games, obstacles, equine care and conditioning, grooming and stable management.
Our program places an emphasis providing enjoyable and novel experiences for individuals with special needs and their families to grow and bond in a non-clinical, fun, outdoor environment through participation in equine-oriented activities.
