Surplus sales of tools & hardware liquidated by big box stores
I started this store as a part-time hobby and it "got out of the corral" and grown to a full time project. Opened retail store in April of 2015. I am Pennsylvania Dutch... hence the name. I find myself betwixt two. The English folks say I am a "Dutchie" and the Dutchies say I use to many English words. PA Dutch is actually a misnomer for the German dialect we speak. My heritage is from the Old Order Mennonites who have kept this dialect alive, albeit "contaminated" with many English words. Having grown up in the retail bushiness in Berks County that fueled my "Dutching".
We buy mostly new products on wholesale liquidation lots being liquidated by "big box" retailers. We sell from our walk-in store as well as eBay and our own www.friendlydutchman.net webste
