The "Bend Friends" is a group of volunteers who build trails, clean up the Chattahoochee, and encourage getting unplugged and outdoors!
The Friends of Chattahoochee Bend State Park is the local chapter of the Friends of Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites. Our volunteer organization has been built 11+ miles of hiking trails at Georgia's newest state park, and we're gearing up to build Mountain Bike and Horseback Trails.
Volunteer participation is the ONLY way trails will be built at The Bend. We need your support!
Our mission is to partner with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Coweta County business and community leaders and Georgians across the state to promote, preserve and support Chattahoochee Bend State Park's recreational and natural resources, as well as promote awareness, advocacy and stewardship.
