The Friends of Rahway River Parkway is organized exclusively for the improvement, restoration and preservation of the Rahway River Parkway.
The Friends of Rahway River Parkway has been formed exclusively to encourage and advocate for the preservation, restoration, and enhancement of the Rahway River Parkway, in accord with the Olmsted design principles inherent in its origins and to promote appropriate public enjoyment of the Parkway. Our mission is not only Rahway River Park, but all of the parks along Rahway River in Union County that are connected by the Rahway River Parkway. Parks include Rahway River Park, Hanson Park, McConnell Park, Hampton Park, Nomahegan Park, Lenape Park, Meisel Ave Park, Washington Ave Park, Milton Lake Park,Sperry Park, Osceola Park and Larchmont Park.
We are committed to developing various educational content via our social media outlets as well as expert and preservation advocate led programs throughout the community. Make sure to check in with our page for upcoming events!
Thank you for your support from the start of this journey and for your continued partnership. We are especially grateful for the opportunity we have together to continue on the path for preservation of our parklands for future generations to enjoy!
