FORPAZ is a non-profit association organized under the laws of the state of Kansas to carry exclusively charitable, educational and literary work in the community for the development and improvement of park and zoo facilities in Independence, KS and the surrounding community. Improvement of the educational influence and recreational value of parks and zoo for children and adults and development of an appreciation for wildlife and nature by all people.
