The California Nursery Historical Park is a city park in Fremont. Old and unusual trees and historic buildings remain from the California Nursery Company. The City of Fremont and the Math Science Nucleus manage aspects of the park.
John Rock started his nursery operations in San Jose in 1865. He and R.D. Fox bought the land in Niles to found the California Nursery Company in 1884. It was about one square mile in size and at one time was the largest nursery this side of the Rockies. The nursery grounds contain the Vallejo Adobe.
