Friends of the Edmonds Library's goals are to support and enhance the Edmonds Library.
Friends of the Edmonds Library's goals are to support and enhance the Edmonds Library; promote literacy, reading, and use of information resources; and advance education in library and information science. The Edmonds Friends group was organized and incorporated in March 1979 by 15 founding members. Today we have over 180 members.
We are a not-for-profit tax exempt volunteer organization and we raise money through our Memorial and Gift Fund, an on-going book sale in the Library and our huge annual book sale usually held the fourth Saturday in October. We have raised over $456,000 for our programs.
