With the help of volunteers, bookstore sales, support of local businesses, and various contributions, the Friends have purchased the following items:

-Story Time Rug
-Prizes for Winter/Summer Reading Programs
-Bronze Max Turner Statue at Library Entrance
-Reading Bench on 2nd Floor Landing
-Parking Lot Sign
The purpose of the Friends of the Library is to:
-Stimulate public support for the Green Hills Public Library through gifts and volunteer assistance.
-Finance library projects not possible with tax funds.
-Encourage public understanding of our library.
-Increase the library's usefulness to the community.
The Friends of the Library have a Bookstore on the ground floor of the library. THe bookstore is staffed completely by volunteers. All proceeds go to benefit the Green Hills Public Library. Stop by to get great deals on used books, DVDs, and CDs.
