Seattle Skateboarders, and Supporters, in Stewardship of, and Solidarity for, the City's first skateable public art installation.
Per its Citywide Skatepark Plan, the Seattle Department of Parks & Recreation selected a site for the Red Bull Skate Space in Myrtle Edwards Park, just North of the Olympic Sculpture Park. Then, in response to concerns by the Seattle Art Museum, the site was changed to the Jefferson Park Skatepark. We support this partnership, and the idea of Integrated Skateable Terrain in Seattle.
