The Friends of the Kearny Library was organized in 2008 for the purpose of enriching and enhancing our public libraries.
The purpose of the Friends of the Kearny New Jersey Library, Inc., is to maintain an association of persons interested in the Kearny New Jersey Library; to focus public attention on the Kearny Library; to stimulation of the Kearny Library's resources and services; to receive and encourage gifts, endowments and bequests to the Kearny Library; and to support and cooperate with the Kearny Library in developing library services and facilities for the community.
