The Friends are a volunteer group that support all facets of the success of The Lewistown Public Library and the community.
The purpose of the Friends of the Lewistown Public Library shall be to work in cooperation with both the library director and the library trustees. To maintain an organization of persons interested in exceptional library services. To assist in development, promotion, and fundraising for library activities. To facilitate fundraising through the Book Station book sales. To act as liason between the community and the library, and to increase public awareness and stimulate the use of the library's resources through participation in community events. To support the freedoms to read as expressed in the Library Bill of Rights and the Freedom to Read statements.
To work in cooperation with the Library Directors, Trustees and Community to encourage the sustainability of our Library.
