Membership and bookstore sales, by all volunteer staff, supports the Macon County Public Library. Inventory is donated & ever-changing, always interesting.
Our organization assists with needs of the Macon County Public Library. Primary funding comes from bookstore sales and membership dues.
The purpose of this organization is to develop and maintain citizen interest and participation in the growth and development of the Macon County Public Library and to stimulate the use of the library's resources and services.
All materials sold at the bookstore are donated and all of the labor is volunteered. Without community support of the bookstore and your membership dues, the Macon County Public Library's collections, materials, programs and equipment would be very limited.
Used books of all genre,audio books, vinyl records, CD's, DVD's and VCR movies, puzzles and some board games are available at our bookstore. Because all items are donated our inventory is always interesting and ever changing.
