The Friends of Venice Library (in Venice Beach, California) supports the many fabulous programs available at the Venice Branch Library of the LAPL.
The Friends of Venice Library (FoVL) is a NONPROFIT VOLUNTEER organization that supports the Venice-Abbot Kinney Memorial Branch of the LAPL in Venice, California. Our fundraising allows the library to succeed in their mission to be a community center. We purchase books and other equipment or materials the library needs to operate as a partner with our community. We also provide support for adult, teen and children's programs that are FREE to the public.
The Friends of the Venice Library was formed to serve as a support and fundraising arm for the Venice Branch Library (LAPL). Our mission is to promote the library's resources and services, including programs tailored to the unique communities it serves. This 120 member group has a dedicated cadre of volunteer board members who work with library staff on services and programming that enrich, empower and educate the patrons of the Venice Branch Library.
