Some things we do: Help with the construction and maintenance of over 40 miles of trail; Staff the Nature Center on Weekends; Provide Scholarships to Environmental Programs for Disadvantaged Children; Advocate for the Preservation of Natural Lands, Construct & monitor nest boxes for bluebirds, tree swallows, and kestrels; Install and maintain a Native Plant Garden at the Park Office; Help upgrade Nature Center Exhibits; Install and maintain live nest cameras at the Nature Center; and Provide financial and volunteer support for the Park.
The mission of the Friends of White Clay Creek State Park is the protection and preservation of the park and the surrounding creek valley through needs assessment, enhancement projects, public relations and education.
