Pastor Warren C Cook - "I call you friends."(Jesus, John 15:15)
Rich or poor, young or old, white, black, brown, red or yellow, we would love to have you join us as our special guest this week, and we hope that you'll enjoy the service and return again and again, week after week! We will always do our best, with God’s help, to love you, accept you, believe the best in you, support and strengthen you, and build you up in Christ to reach your full potential in the Lord. If you have any questions, comments, or if you need prayer, counseling or help of any kind please do not hesitate to call us or ask any of our church leaders – we’ll be happy to do all we can to help you!
OUR VISION is to love the Lord Jesus and obey the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
In the Great Commandment, Jesus said to "love one another, as I have loved you".
In the Great Commission, Jesus said to "go into all the world and make disciples, teaching them to obey all things that I have commanded you."
After much prayer, study and thought, we decided that Jesus' teachings will lead us to prioritize 5 stepping stones on the way to hitting the bulls-eye. They are ...
Friendship - learning to love ourselves and love one another. We ask the question ... "Where Do I Fit?"
Discipleship - learning to become more and more like Jesus. We ask the question ... "What Can I Become?"
Worship - learning to love the Lord with all our hearts. We ask the question ... "Who Do I Adore?"
Ministry - learning to truly love and serve our neighbors. We ask the question ... "How Can I Help?"
Evangelism - learning to tell the world the Good News about Jesus. We ask the question ... "Who Can I Reach?"
PS - an easy way to remember the vision is to have a "Fun Day With ME". F=Friendship. D=Discipleship. W=Worship. M=Ministry. E=Evangelism.
"to love Jesus with all our heart, to live like we mean it, and to persuade as many people as possible to join us on this journey of faith."
