Frocks and Frills Vintage provides 100 years of fashion for men and women. We carry true vintage items from the late 1800's to the early 1980s. Our items are clean, wearable antique and vintage fashions from the bygone decades. Our collection includes more vintage hats under one roof than any other store in the Chicagoland area.

My experience was wonderful! I was pleased at how knowledgeable the owner was and to come to find out that she has personally sold her items to the cast of the popular show ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ and has some for her customers to purchase which I did. Her and her mother are very kind, helpful, and social. I would and already have recommend anyone with a love for vintage items to give them a try! Such a nice visit - will come again!
By far one of the best vintage shops I’ve ever visited and I wish I lived closer to the store! Owner/family is extremely kind and friendly. If you let her know what your preferred style is she will go out of her way to try and source pieces for you. Everything I’ve ever bought from here has been well worth the investment.
My favorite vintage clothing shop ever! I always find great jewelry, bags and hats too. She has a wonderful eye and her collection is amazing! I highly recommend this gem of a shop, you won’t find anything like it around. I always find the best gifts here, too. Pro tip- check out her Etsy if you’re not nearby

Wow, AMAZING vintage shop and such an awesome and organized selection. One of the best I have been to in the Chicagoland area! The organization by size/year is extremely helpful, and they give free measurements. The owners are SO kind, I’m convinced anyone stating they’ve received bad service here are reviewing the wrong place.. I purchased a dress and my boyfriend got some shaving gear and suspenders. They’ve got an impressive selection of hats, accessories, shoes, etc that I only wish I had more time to explore. I will definitely be back soon!!
A wonderful place to shop for vintage clothing and accessories. Lindsey was so kind and helpful to us, and she was very knowledgeable about everything in her store. We will definitely be going there again!
Perfectly placed beside a vegan/gluten free bakery — the most wonderful vintage shop. The owner is extremely talented and full of knowledge. She knows how to put together the most amazing looks, definitely take advantage of her knowledge! I highly recommend this store it is an absolute joy to shop. The prices are reasonable for the quality. If ur looking for unique one-of-a-kind piece/outfit, this is your stop! Important to mention her hat collection—that alone could be a store of itself!
The clothes are nice but be aware the measure you when you walk in and you are only allowed to try on clothes that are bigger than your measurements. I understand why, but if you have body image issues, I would not recommend shopping here. Clothes are color coded in stoplight colors with red being the biggest. It really isn’t good unless you are very comfortable with your body and very comfortable with someone else judging it.
I had an extremely lovely experience at Frocks and Frills. I can’t wait to go again. My first time shopping actual legit vintage for myself and I felt welcomed. My questions were answered and it was great to speak to knowledgeable people. Don’t be afraid to ASK QUESTIONS, I know nothing about vintage except what I want to look like and they got me there! It is very clear that this store is run on a love/passion for each and every item they have in there. If you want help being outfitted you will be helped. If you have a certain budget it will be met to the extent it can be. Shopping Vintage, people have to understand the work that goes behind making sure these items are well taken care of for us to be able to buy an item to begin with. Frocks and Frills is a delicacy to fashion and I guarantee it beats any fast fashion big name you’re used to. 5 stars, trust me.
This store is the absolute best. Lindsay and her mom are absolutely charming sweethearts, and always have the cutest stuff! There’s a wide range of selections from every era, and Lindsay makes sure to have a wide variety of sizing too to cater to every body type. You won’t be able to walk out of this store empty handed!! If I could give more stars, I would!
