Law Enforcement serving the citizens of Frontenac, KS
The earliest references to local law enforcement dates to 1895 when the City employed a day and night Marshal. This form of law enforcement continued into the 1970s when the Frontenac Police Department was established with a Police Chief and certified Police Officers. Today's Police Department operates under a Director of Public Safety, eight certified officers and four dispatchers. The police department operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
