As a parent, of one, soon to be two students attending this high school, I am discouraged at the schools failure to involve parents in areas that so clearly should be. My son likes his teachers, and us doing well this year. But when and if a problem should arise with their academics, it is the parent who should be making decisions that the guidance counselor is taking upon himself to do. No way he knows my child better than I do. Parents should be encouraged to participate, not discouraged from doing so.
Don't know where to start, the racist teachers or kids that smoke weed while teachers know. I remember a few students coming late to class and the first thing everyones attention turned to when they walked in was them because of thier smell. Even the teacher was like "i know thats weed, but can someone open the window at least?". If your not an American looking kid, get ready for the super racist slurs, harassment, and unfair treatment by teachers. My arabic friend was called a terrorist pleanty of times and even by a teacher. What happened, nothing other than students adding to it. Nothing happened to the teacher, and the same teacher made a girl go homeschooled from how uncomfortable she felt in his class. Biggest thing that cought my attention was a girl who got her hijab ripped off by a few racist students. No one suspended or expelled, not even detention. They told the girl to tell no one and to keep it between them because the school dosen't want a bad reputation. Seriously this school is worse than people think, and I'm not talking about one or two teachers or students, this is a big portion. Only liked one history teacher mr Adams, and never had problems with english department all my years so far. Just an honest review and not lying. I would have wrote more but this should give you guys a general prospective on everything hopefully.
From Drugs to teachers who encourage others to be mean and racist towards others, this school straight up sucks. Thr Principal and vice principal don't help out with literally anything when you need it. You will walk into a drug litterly every single day, at least in my experince, and the security gaurds are more worried about kids selling candy then selling drugs and vapes. Find a better school.
Hated it.I attented from 08-12.I always got picked on for my appearance and lack of friends, being a nerdy guy. There was this one girl who I thought actually liked me but after I told her some personal stories she told EVERYONE and humilated me.The teachers did nothing to stop it either.Oh yeah high school is supposed to be the best time of your life right? Well it was the worst 4 years of mine. P.s I used a fake name,I saw on facebook so in case any jerk or teacher I went to Frontier with sees this, they wont be able to get a kick out of it
Freshman 2016! I love frontier! We dominate Kern county! Whoop! Seriously one of the best schools I have ever been to. That is saying a lot, because I went to Norris!
I live right next to Frontier and I supposed to be going there but my mom took my ass down the the kern high school district office and asked them to send all my papers to Liberty. Frontier is so bad that my brother drop out the school sucks
This is my Junior year and I still love this school it is great for every child that attends!
