I had an amazing experience ordering from Frosted Fig for my mom's birthday! The owner, Patricia, was super kind, accommodating, and communicative when i requested a dairy free fruit tart. Even though she had never made one, she was willing to make several test batches until the tart was perfect before telling me to place the order so that I would be able to get a tart that she would be confident that we would enjoy. She also gave me great suggestions throughout the entire process. When I mentioned that my mom liked lemon, she suggested a lemon curd base and suggested toppings that would pair well with the lemon flavors. As for the taste of the tart, it was absolutely delicious and the fruits were super sweet and well picked! ended up with a lemon curd tart with blueberries and blackberries on top -- the berries were arranged beautifully and my mom was super happy with the tart. Thank you so much Patricia for making this whole experience so easy and special for us! I will definitely be ordering again soon :
Thank you so much for the amazing and delicious treats for my sister's baby shower. They were a huge hit and looked beautiful in our dessert table. All the guests raved about all of them. Everything was fresh, high-quality and delicious. I can't wait to try other treats!
Patricia was so lovely and easy going. She graciously agreed to make a special recipe snickerdoodle flavored cake for my husband’s birthday. The ordering process was so easy and the cake was wonderfully scrumptious and beautiful. My whole family loved it and it made for a great celebration. Can’t wait to try more baked goods from her bake shop in the future! Update: She also made a cake for my daughters birthday and it was absolutely beautiful and delicious!
Patricia at Frosted Fig made a Berry Chantilly cake for my mother-in-law's 92nd birthday celebration, and everyone agreed that the cake was wonderful. Not only was it absolutely beautiful, but it was so delicious. In fact, one guest declared it was the best cake she had eaten in a year! The ordering process was easy, and I wholeheartedly recommend this bakery.

My husband surprised me with a black forest cake by Patricia for my 30th birthday and it blew my mind. I have had black forest cakes for my birthdays for as long as I have remembered, but I have yet to try one I love since I moved to the US 3 years ago. From the beautiful packaging, custom cake tag we thought it would just be a notecard and delicious cake, everything was perfectly executed. As a pastry chef myself, I am so glad I found a cake shop that can make such high quality cakes so that I don't have to make one for my own birthday . The cake was moist and the entire cake was balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. The cherries were fresh and crisp and perfect against the light whipped cream. Thank you Frosted Fig for making my 30th birthday very special.
We ordered cherry-almond and lemon-raspberry cupcakes for a baby shower and they were the hit of the party! So gorgeous, packaged to our request and SO DELICIOUS!! I highly recommend Frosted Fig for your specialty baking needs!!
I discovered them at the farmer's market a few years ago and tried many of their delicious treats...almond roca, peanut butter cup cookies, chocolate bouchon and snickerdoodle apple pie cups which are amazing! I've missed them so much this year that I've placed a few orders for convenient pickup. Their custard tarts are beautiful and so yummy. For my husband's birthday they made his favorite, a lemon cake with cream cheese frosting and a separate yellow cake with chocolate frosting for the rest of our family. They are a pleasure to work with and I'm looking foward to trying their cinnamon rolls next. Everything looks wonderful and we can't wait to try more of their treats. I searched for a bakery that bakes Black Forest Cakes, willing to make some modifications, and provides delivery. There are a few bakeries that bake this cake and provide delivery, but Frosted Fig fulfills all three and then some…Patricia, the owner of Frosted Fig is very accommodating, patient, creative, and innovative. She is willing to try out a plant-based sweetener as my husband, Al, and I have been trying to cut down on sugar intake and the “kirsch” that goes with the typical Black Forest Cakes found in Germany. The sweetener and kirsch are new for Patricia but she is willing to give it a try. Patricia orders the sweetener and made trial cupcakes to verify quality. She informs me a few days prior to delivery that it may make the cake less moist, but it is still my choice whether I want to go with the sweetener or have the regular sugar. It is a gamble and I want this cake to be truly special for my husband’s birthday. So, my decision is to stick with the sugar. After going back and forth several times with the ingredients, I anxiously await Al’s reaction when he gets to sample the cake on his birthday. The cake is moist, not too sweet, and with the whipped cream utterly delicious! It’s going to take a great will power not to finish the cake in one sitting . Al and I are very appreciative that Patricia is willing to “customize” the Black Forest Cake and provides such excellent customer care and service. We have traveled throughout Germany and Europe and tasted authentic Black Forest Cake, and Frosted Fig’s Black Forest Cake is authentic. Al and I will not hesitate to recommend Frosted Fig to our relatives and friends. Thank you very much Patricia and Ryan!
I wish I had taken pictures to post with my review. Patricia is a kindred spirit and her melt in the mouth delicious creations will attest to that for I do believe that a baker adds a little bit of themselves to everything they create. I had ordered a German Chocolate Cake and blueberry banana bread which exceeded my expectations both flavor and texture wise. Can’t wait to order again!
