Description

The Frostop has been serving Picayune since 1951. It is currently owned and operated by Timothy and Dwayne Kellar. We are the third generation in our family to own this restaurant. We have been serving the same food for over 60 years and appreciate your many years of patronage.

Hands down best restaurant in picayune! Probably best prices in the state! Make sure you get the Sweet Potato Fries! I’ve recommended pretty much everyone I know to Frostop! But bring cash, cause that’s all they take. Stop here, I promise you won’t regret it!Food: 5/5
Great old fashioned in a good way drive-in restaurant. Everything is made to order. The company was actually founded in1926, but didn't survive the onslaught of the fast food places. There are only a few locations surviving. But, they do sell the best darn Root Beer in the world, made the original way. Check out this location for very reasonably priced food. Even a grilled cheese sandwich for $1.00. One can leave this place full after spending less than $5.00.

If one has never been to Frost Top...they are truly missing out! Everyone is very nice and accommodating. The food is 100% downright amazing and you won't find prices for the quality of food anywhere besides here. We love you Frost Top.Food: 5/5
The food and service are good but it would be way better for the business if they would accept cards/virtual payment and had maybe an online ordering system as they rarely answer the phone and I’ve gone to other restaurants because ordering and paying was more convenient than fro stopFood: 5/5
The staff was very friendly & Well mannered, helpful to their menu choices. THE HOT DOG ON FRECH BREAD, WITH CHILLI, ONIONS, HIT OF MUSTARD WAS AWESOME, ALONG WITH THE DRESSED ROAST BEEF PO BOY WAS STUFFED WITH MEAT AND ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. THE PRICES ARE FAIR & REASONABLE AND ORDER IS MADE TO WAIT, BUT WELL WORTH YOUR TIME. SEEMS LIKE THIS ESTABLISHMENT HAS BEEN HERE A LONG TIME AND HAS A LUNCH TIME FOLLOWING, NEAR THE PEAK HOURS 11AM TO AFTER 1PM. THERE IS NO MORE DRIVE UP WINDOW , ONLY THE ORDER WALK UP WINDOW.There is a dinning area, but very crowded for lunch time, with tight parking--pickup trucks to cars, a vast and mixed working crowd stopping In for l U nch perhaps. Well worth your visit next time in Picayune Ms. ** 1 Note of fans to The Frosttop they do Not have the iconic tasty Frostop Rootbeer, however they have local South Barques Rootbeer which is 2nd best!!..The staff is, professional, super accommodateing and gives friendly service with a smile. Nothing to do with the staff, but screaming kids kind of make it hard to enjoy your food. Parents not parenting their kids. Frostop is a picayune staple. Monitor your kids out of respect of other patrons or take them somewhere else.Food: 5/5
Always great customer service and good price for the amount of food! The milkshakes are awesome and roast beef poboys too! Kid-friendliness: Great place for families to eat in even without a playground. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access to the facility ground level. Also, you can opt to place your order at the front of the restaurant if you rather wait in the vehicle.
The food was good and reasonably priced. Try the roast beef poboy it was great. I will definitely stop here again when I am in town. Kid-friendliness: Looks like a good place to bring the kids for ice cream. Big cone small price you can't beat it.
Delicious food and friendly staff. The roast beef poboy and onion rings are my favorite items. Great options for kids as well. Cash/check only so be sure to have that. No debit/credit cards are taken.
