Phenomenal cuisine triggering your taste buds to travel to a state of melancholy and explosion of a piece of Portugal . Service was fantastic as well. Got to meet owner, very attentful and always making sure we were taken care of. In the end surprised us with a delicious freshly made bread pudding which melted in your mouth right before the soft crunchy bite. Truly amazing experience. Highly recommend to anyone traveling to the area, passing by or even living there. Brought me back to my Portuguese roots. Authentic Portuguese cuisine.
Wonderful family run and family owned business with a Portuguese flair to it. Very friendly staff. Fresh food. Clean and tidy restaurant. Breakfast all day. Fresh baked goods to die for. I am a local Realtor that uses the pastries here for my open houses.
Busy location Clean Well lit Pleasant and friendly staff Favorite among the locals and cyclists One of my favorite local restaurant All the dishes I have ordered have been very delicious, with a good presentation and portions are plentiful. Highly recommend it 3/2023 Still a great location Parking: Parking is available West and North of building.
Great experience here. The gentleman who took our order was really friendly and greeted us right when we stepped in. Got the linguica omelette with potatoes and rye toast. The food was amazing. The linguica is made in house and is some of the best that I've tried anywhere. Also got a veggie panini along with a matcha latte and a hot chocolate. There was no complaints at all about the food and everyone left happy and full. Vegetarian options: Staff was very accommodating and offered to change dishes that had meat to something that was vegetarian friendly.
I just happened to be driving by when I saw people dining in a bistro setting outdoors. I decided to peek inside and stumbled across this darling little cafe filled with beautiful pastries. They have a very full menu for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and a great selection of different coffees beer and wine. I was going to just grab a cool drink and ended up ordering the avocado toast with a side salad and everything was fresh and delicious. I was tempted to buy one of the pastries maybe next time.
I come here sometimes for a quick lunch, and it's not the greatest experience but not the worst either.. I normally bring my pet so if I sit outside on the table so I don't walk inside with my pet as there are unfriendly pet people, then I don't get no one to take my order and I have to bring my pet in my truck, go order and pre-pay and go get my pet and wait for my food.. I am Portuguese and the Portuguese food here is lacking a lot on what it's supposed to be, The Portuguese steak normally comes dry and almost cold as it was pre-cooked and was heated up waiting on the fries... for a cafe they lack in variation of sweets. Most of the staff is super friendly with me and overall. I just hope they improve the quality in general here, and I will probably keep coming here. Just not as often, unfortunately.
Great food and quality ingredients you can taste. Their staff was friendly and attentive and it was clean inside.
Slow service. 25 minutes for our food to arrive to the table. Wife was happy with her crepes. My steak Portuguese and egg fell way short. Asked for steak to be medium rare and my egg over easy. Steak was overcooked and dry, egg was over hard. Went with there ham and cheese panini, well toasted. Opted for brie cheese instead of Monterey Jack.. Nothing to write home about. Very forgettable. Staff was nice, but slow.
Additional info 2023: The new management is great and because it’s grown it’s also twice as friendly with a bigger menu, better quality, faster and healthier. The omelet menu is huge and ricotta strawberry crêpes are fluffy with just the right amount of ricotta for that contrast. Again quality and control is always consistent. Amazing for such a small place Original review 2020: My grandmother says it’s one of the best panini she’s ever had :
I love the Portuguese-style restaurant. Chatting here with friends and family makes me a great day.
