The self-checkout section does not allow markdown items. This is a limiting factor, as the small amount you save will be completely outweighed by the tip for volunteer baggers at the traditional checkout lanes. I would like to see this policy reconsidered, as the system definitely allows for the employee monitoring self-checkout to input the markdown items on the spot - very quickly and with no difficulty I have seen it done at this same commissary in the past
Commissary is good, not too bad. You ever see the freshly made Sushi? No way. Pretty good sushi for commissary SUSHI. The meat section is pretty good to. Not a fan of the baggers making me feel obligated to tip them for bagging groceries. Like I just spent $200 on a small basket of groceries. Ok
Do not buy produce here. It rots in 2 days. Bought some cut fruit, already bad. The pre made salad, black lettuce. If you're gonna charge the prices you do for produce you should probably make sure it's fresh.
A very nice commissary that serve our American service men and women. However the effects of the economy is taking its toll on available food products. Many shelfs are bare. Not that they don't deserve the best. They defend our country and our precious freedoms. God bless our military
The meat market is always recently stocked. The people who work in the market are super helpful! The product is constantly being refilled. The deli and sushi sections are always providing helpful service and delicious food.
Nice place. For the soldiers that have served and their families etc . It can get busy at times . Could use more cashiers at these times. Including a cashier at 8am . Edit, it has gone down hill . The store is not stocked like it use to be . They need to work harder on getting this place stocked. Too many outs now . Not enough vendors here . Shouldn't have to go down town to buy what you need because they are not keeping this store well stocked . This place is not what it use to be .. good luck trying to talk to a manager. They don't want to be bothered with complaints or comments.. the commissary let's people come inside around 9am . But doesn't open the registers until 930am
Great place to buy your groceries. It does get really packed sometimes so be aware of that. sushi is great and the subs at the deli area.
FSC is on base. You must have a pass to get onto the base. A member or spouse of the U.S. army should be present when purchasing. FS Commissary was very clean, inviting, and overall a great place to shop at while living on base. It had all the things I needed at the time of purchase. Larger items can be purchased off-base.
Love shopping here!!! The deals they have are amazing, plenty of lines to choose from. Not too sure if anyone who reads/sees this review knows what a Publix is, but they have a spot at the deli where you can get sandwiches, hoagies, and paninis made fresh, which are AMAZING, in my opinion they are way better than other places. Also in the meat department, they have these packages called "Power Boxes" which for the price is amazing, you can get like 8lbs of ground beef, cubed steak, ribeye, chuck roast, and/or other meats, chicken, pork, beef from like $39-$90 depending on which box you choose and what is in the box, now if you buy the stuff individually it will run you almost double the price, we like to buy it and meal prep with it for the month. Definitely great deals at the commissary!!!!
They have everything. Low prices. Really good meat. We will be there a lot.
