Our new favorite "church"/ restaurant. Located off the beaten path, this converted church is a local friendly hangout with food that is absolutely fresh, made to order excellence. We enjoyed the Fugley burger and Ruben with tots and crinkle fries and it was superb. We also had bloody Marys, on special for only $4! It had a large piece of the tastiest, crisp bacon Ive had in recent memory. The bartender was friendly, efficient, and fast and able to easily serve a full bar plus a table. The cook staff was excellent, as they were seen easily through a serving window behind the bar. The decor was unique and cool with pool table and jukebox. We will definately come again!

Steak. I've eaten 100s or maybe 1000s of steaks. We have raised cattle my whole life. I ate steak for a snack when I was a child. The steak I had at Fugley's was definitely in the top 5 of my lifetime. Delicious. Perfectly seasoned. Tender. Nice size. Reasonably priced too!Food: 5/5

It was quite busy but we went right in sat down and our orders were taken immediately about a five minute wait and our tacos were served. Made the way we ordered them . Very good food best tacos I've had from a restaurant highly recommend fuglys.Food: 5/5

This is truly a hidden gem! Located in a very rural, small town setting and housed in what used to be an old church with a steeple still in place, Fugly's is a great place for a steak dinner. It's a bit of a drive for me, but it is so worth it. The ribeye is excellent, so much so that I find it hard to branch out on the menu, although I did have tacos on Taco Monday once, and they were really good too. Their beef is local and steaks hand cut. It's probably the best ribeye you'll find anywhere, hands down. This ribeye would rival ANY high-end restaurant without the high-end price. It's always perfectly cooked and seasoned, and it's HUGE! The atmosphere is really just down-home friendly, with several locals there each time we come. The ladies who are serving are so sweet, and they're always right on top of everything. Even though this is a bar, the under-21 crowd is welcome for dinner until the kitchen closes. Keep in mind that this place isn't very big, so if you want dinner on Friday or Saturday, plan ahead and arrive before the typical dinner hour if you don't want to wait for a table. There is usually some bar seating available if tables are full. Now, a disclaimer, because this could make it or break it for some of you... smoking IS allowed inside. If smoke bothers you, just know this going in that there will likely be some smoke in the air. However, for some of you, this might be a bonus. I don't smoke, but my husband does, and he loves going to Fugly's, where he isn't judged and side-eyed for wanting to have a cigarette without having to step outside. I love recommending Fugly's to my friends, and I'm so grateful for the friend who recommended this great place to me!

We were told about this place as the best steak in all of the kansas city area, and it was a very good steak! I had the ribeye and it was very tasty! The staff was very friendly, the customers were happy, and we made a few friends while we were there. It is very small and cozy so there may be a wait, and if your like us it's 45min away from home, but was well worth it. Tasty food and great service, which is becoming a rare treat!

Best tasting steak I've had at a restaurant in many years and it was HUGE ! That ribeye was nearly as large as the platter it was served on and an inch thick ! My wife had the shrimp and they were huge too ! We'll be back again soon and often !
