Definitely mom and pop feel to it which I love! Sushi was good. Some of our rolls were cut pretty thick just fyi. Loss of star for the bathroom. It was trashed. But we enjoyed ourselves, no wait at 7pm on a Saturday so can’t complain there!!!!! Thanks for a good meal!Food: 5/5
I tried this restaurant for the first time today. This sushi place is wonderful. It's small, but cozy. The waitress was polite and attentive, but not overly so, as I was only one there at the time. I ordered the Albacore Albacore roll and baked lobster. Both amazing The rice to protein ratio was good Prices are fair, and not crazy like some other places. I will definitely be back another time to try more. Kid-friendliness: They have a great kids menu Wheelchair accessibility: No booths, just tables to very wheelchair accessible
I have been to many sushi places, I know what texture and the general taste from each type of fish. This sushi bars fish is very fresh especially for the price, the texture is very soft and has its profound flavor once it touches your tongue along with each roll having good portioned rice where it doesn't take up more than half the roll. Even the fish glisten like gold. I say this is a good place to go if you want a high quality prepared roll without it being a super fancy restaurant that is overpriced. Be prepared to try other rolls and it being a new and different experience than other sushi places. To all the previous reviews, this is under new management. It looks like the owner is the cook.
The best all you can eat sushi!! We have been enjoying this place for more than 20 years. Service is excellent, ever-y-thing is delicious, especially the popcorn lobster, the double double, the Alaskan roll, and golden tiger.Food: 5/5
I had tried this restaurant on April 17th 2023 in the late afternoon. The atmospheres of the restaurant looked pretty neat. The service was okay. They forgot my miso soup. However I order their sushi rolls with lobster meat and it tasted pungent! . I told the waiter and the waiter told the chief. And they insisted the lobster meat was fresh. But they never tasted or looked at the expiration date! I still paid for the sushi! Fast forward a few hours later I ended up getting food poisoning!!!! I was sick as a dog for 24 hours!!!! I would not recommend!!!!
BEWARE OF PRICING! Ordered over the phone based on posted menus, prices are double and triple once you get there to pick up your food and none of the fish was fresh. Paid $67 for 3 rolls and edamame. Definitely could have went to ayce or a nice place like pun un claremont it something. Definitely pass they scam you not updating prices and she was aware when I went in my shock saying oh yea everyone mentions the price’s difference. Then do something about it
My new favorite sushi place. The service is friendly but the place is small and gets crowded quick cause the food is so good. I like some of the more unusual sushi choices.Food: 5/5
im a big fan of Japanese food been to different restaurants on different places we came for an all you can eat price is fair but service is bad they have three rounds to order ive ordered all my favs that they have on a menu super excited but turn out to disappointment one plate came in then timed fir next one came after 25 mins then you have to wait another 30 mins for next one. talked to the chef/manager about the service instead he kick me out of the premises by telling him about my experience and told me not to come back. they shouldn't offer an all you can eat food if they cannot delivered.
The staff is nice, the place was clean, and the fish itself was decent. I never really feel compelled to write a negatively critical review, but the rolls were loose and oversized. The standard is definitely quantity over qualtity. I wanted to love this place because it was an impulse choice for dinner, and I wanted to reinforce the positive outcome of a randomly fateful destination, but I left thinking, "Is this what buyer's remorse feels like?" It just wasn't the kind of sushi I'm used to and I was legitimately disappointed.
Been coming here for years, it's my families 'go to' sushi restaurant. I've NEVER had anything less than delicious. Quality ingredients, sushi is fresh, all-you-can-eat is an amazing deal.
