Clean, machines are all working and nice to go to a place that had a helpful employee when needed. My quarters became jammed, and he was right there to fix. We were at a different location earlier on walker and left Because so many machines were broken, the place was very dirty and the change machine didn't work. We will definitely be back to alpine superwash from now on!
Really not bad for having older machines. The prices are right and the change machines almost always work or at least have one that works. They also have a Coke machine and snack machine and a TV playing local TV channels. The washers come in top loaders or side loaders and they all seem to work well and seem to be cleaned regularly. There is also a person on staff at all times and they are normally cleaning up the machines and whipping things down. The large loads cost around $6 and small loads are about $2.50. The dryers start at .25 per 4 or 5 min depending on the machine and size. I have yet to have an issue with any of the machines taking my money or not working correctly. They make take longer to dry then a newer dryer but it's cheaper than most other laundry mats. Overall, if you're looking for a place near the north west side to do coin laundry at a cheaper rate, try the Alpine Superwash.
6 dollars for 20 min biggest machine. Easily did my king weighted blanket. 25c per 4 min drying. Need about 1.25 to 1.50 per load. VERY Nixe and friendly staff. I've never had a better experience at a laundromat. There's soda vending machine only 1 dollar. Candy machine too. VERY clean and taken care of. Very easy to understand and use. Tons of diffrent sized and priced washers.
Great spot! No frills, clean, affordable, responsive and friendly owner. Never had issues with any of the machines.
The owner for this laundry mat does an amazing job keeping the place clean and upkept, one of the best laundry mats in Grand Rapids.
The first time I have been to a laundromat where a fight almost broke out. Would not recommend especially if you are visiting from out of town, not the best area.
This place has gotten better over the last 10 years. Clean an actually open till 10pm even on Sunday
Great place, SUPER CLEAN.The people who own super wash take great pride in the looks and functionality of their business.As you can see someone is always cleaning and sweeping.
They are Clean, they offer a vending machine with snacks, pop machine, bathroom and free coffee. Flat screen tv and clothes folding tables. They have 75, 60, 30,18 and 12 lb washers and large dryers. 2 old school arcade games as well.
Owners are kind and keep the place meticulously clean. Their attention to detail and customer care has saved me atleast once when I forgot a load of clothes in the dryer. I returned the next day and they had them waiting for me.
