Fulvio "Tony" Iachetta, was born of Italian immigrant parents in 1928. His family brought with them from Italy a rich tradition of great Italian cuisine. That tradition includes hearty, homemade foods with distinctive Southern Italian flavors, spices and techniques.
Fulvio's Homemade Italian Sausage pays homage to Fulvio and the foods he taught his family to love. A family tradition, these Italian sausages are made with select cuts of fresh pork, and generous portions of fennel seed, not found in most sausage products on the market today. Fennel is what sets Italian sausage apart. Its distinctive crunch and anise flavor are what makes these sausages ITALIAN! We crafted these sausages from the same recipe Fulvio's father passed down to him, who passed it on to his son, Patrick. Many a Saturday was spent at the family's kitchen table grinding pork, seasoning the meat properly and then came the delicate task of stuffing it.
