Let me assure you we will be sensitive to your every need. Having traveled the path of athlete (football, wrestling, karate & bodybuilding) I thought I had lifelong fitness figured out. Then my body began attacking itself...inexplicably gaining 10, 20, 30 plus pounds. After suffering the embarrassment of being fat, I redoubled my efforts to not eat and run, resulting in passing out on a treadmill, busting my nose & breaking my front tooth...there is nothing quite as sobering as waking up on a gym floor with some one doing CPR on you. I was admitted to the hospital with a blood sugar level of 28, like a coma. The diagnosis, an insulinoma tumor on my pancreas...Yes that is bad news. As the Dr. said I was 1 in a million to have that diagnosis & 1 in 2 million for it to show up on a scan. Shopping 3 doctors, I got 3 recommendations...surgery. When I went in for the surgery I was weighing 265...I wrestled 155 in high school, OUCH.
8 days later I emerged weak as a kitten, but with a blood sugar level of 100, normal & no medications !
Now what ? time to start life over, single. A friend from my college recommended checking out Power Plate Training, she had a trainer that would be just right for me...she was right !
My experience was so positive I became a trainer...losing 70 pounds in 6 months I knew Power Plate worked ! And I now, knew how to work it...as a customer & as a trainer. With my interest peaked I attended Power Plate Training & passed Level 1, 2 & Golf training academies.
The formal training is very intense & requires a lot of study in that the British vocabulary & school can be challenging to understand.
But rest assured I have it & can interpret it perfectly for the needs of every beach body...you will know our plan works & you will know you can do it, no matter what your fitness level.
Further as a Health Facility Administrator from college, I have first hand knowledge of life in an assisted living and nursing home...& intend to help as many people avoid the need for that care via an aggressive preventive care fitness lifestyle.
